Colin Quinn jokes that Amy Schumer’s son is a future ‘MMA champ’

Colin Quinn has heady plans for Amy Schumer’s 1-year-old son, Gene.

“I want Gene to be put into MMA classes immediately,” he told Page Six of his “Trainwreck” co-star’s son. “Those wrists, those hands, those calves!”

The comedian’s dreams for the baby don’t end there.

“I wish people would stop calling him cute,” he groused. “You see cute, I see a warrior! We have to start getting him into blocking techniques immediately. He’s an MMA champ waiting to happen. He’s a beast!”

The “Grown Ups” actor, 61, has a new book out called “Overstated: A Coast-to-Coast Roast of the 50 States,” a humorous look at what makes each of the 50 states unique.

“The country is obviously going through a lot of strife so I thought I’d look at the whole picture and see if I can get anything of it,” he told us.

“I certainly didn’t come away with any answers,” the comic continued. “But I guess that makes me equal to everyone in the country, nobody has any answers. I came away with the idea that it’s the personality formed from our early years.

“I blame it on our dysfunctional childhood, I’m half-kidding. The Constitution formed our personality and every state is formed from how they grew, so it’s interesting to look at different sections of the country based on personalities.”
