Balmain and Miu Miu may have both traded their star-studded front rows for Zoom screens this season amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, but at Chanel’s runway show during Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday, celebrities actually attended in person. Well, some of them.

While a number of the luxury label’s famous ambassadors flocked to the Grand Palais, others attended remotely, posing in front of a Chanel step-and-repeat from the comfort of their homes — “fusing physical experience with digital,” according to the brand’s press release.

“All have been photographed as if they were all together at a unique photocall, making the experience global and inclusive,” Chanel added.
