Could motherhood be in Kaitlyn Bristowe’s future?
During Tuesday’s installment of her “Off the Vine” podcast, the former “Bachelorette” spoke to boyfriend Jason Tartick about parenthood and what to possibly expect once she wraps Season 29 of “Dancing with the Stars.”
“If Artem [Chigvintsev] and I win the mirror-ball [trophy], I will poke holes in your condom,” Bristowe quipped.
Bristowe, 35, who was not up for elimination on Monday’s controversial episode of “Dancing with the Stars,” has been dating Tartick, 31, a fellow “Bachelorette” alum, since early 2019. She was previously engaged to the winner of her season, trainer Shawn Booth.
“I feel very proud of myself and where I’m at and what I’ve accomplished, that I genuinely have always wanted to be a mom,” Bristowe said. “And that is such a full-time job, that, I mean I’m 35, and I’m like, wait, are you ready?”
When Tartick asked Bristowe where she envisions herself five years from now, the reality star answered, “I’m going to have a little girl, I already know her name — we are going to have a little girl.”
Bristowe said she hopes to have two children, and Tartick noted, “In a perfect world, I would want you to be pregnant after we get married.”
“The reason I prefer that we were married,” Tartick began, “I think that for my kids, not that it’s right or wrong — if things happen, they happen — in an ideal world, in a perfect case scenario, I think I would want my kids to be married before they have kids.
“The idea is that you have a fully committed partner, that you two have committed your lives and you gave each other’s vows to one another,” he continued.
In the meantime, Bristowe and Tartick have their fur babies to keep them busy.
