Dominic West raised eyebrows when he was spotted cozying up to Lily James, but he and his wife, Catherine FitzGerald, addressed the headlines directly by kissing in front of photographers and declaring their marriage “is strong.”
Back in 2012, when asked by Esquire how his wife feels about him “having sort of cornered the market on dashing adulterous lushes” given his roles in “The Wire” and “The Hour,” West responded:
“Oh, you are nice to say that. She doesn’t care. As long as I’m back with the kids, I can play up my advantages as much as I like. I’ve known her for twenty years now, and she dumped me on several occasions. I can’t surprise her in any way now.”
A rep for West didn’t immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.
West and FitzGerald married in 2010 and share three children.
