Hoda Kotb reveals Frank Sinatra Jr. was ‘Today’ show’s worst guest

They could’ve used more wine.

While appearing on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” on Wednesday, Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford agreed that Frank Sinatra Jr. was their worst guest on the “Today” show.

“It was the worst guest we’ve ever had, bar none,” a laughing Kotb, 56, explained. “He came for a book. He had a book he was promoting, and he didn’t want to talk about it, so he didn’t say anything.

“It was so weird.”

Sinatra Jr. and “Sinatra 100” co-author Charles Pignone appeared on the morning show in 2015. When asked general questions about the book, which paid tribute to iconic singer Frank Sinatra during the year he would’ve turned 100, Sinatra Jr. declined to answer.

The result was an uncomfortable first few minutes before Sinatra Jr. decided to open up about his late father to Kotb and Gifford.

Sinatra Jr. died in 2016.
