Hailey Baldwin’s latest tattoo is a tribute to her husband, Justin Bieber.
While the couple were in New York City for Bieber’s “SNL” appearance this weekend, the model, 23, stopped by celebrity-loved tattoo artist Mr. K to add to her vast collection of ink.
“J✨is for @justinbieber and beleza ‘beauty in Portuguese,'” Mr. K captioned two photos of Baldwin’s new finger and neck tattoos on Instagram. “It was PLEASURE for your trust on this meaningful piece.”
Fans were quick to make a connection between Baldwin’s “J” tattoo — inked on her ring finger with a sparkle — and the diamond promise ring Bieber gave then-girlfriend Selena Gomez in 2012.
“This woman is crazy, she got the same tattoo as the ring that Justin gave to Selena,” one person commented. “That’s the same font that Selena’s J ring had lol,” another said, while a third wrote, “We can’t keep saying it’s a coincidence.”
Others pointed out that Bieber still has a tattoo of Gomez — albeit slightly altered — on his forearm.
The “J” ring was a Valentine’s Day gift from Bieber to Gomez. At the time, the “Lose You to Love Me” singer excitedly posted a photo of the bling with the caption “I’m finally home,” sparking engagement rumors.
Clearly the fan conspiracy theories have not fazed the Biebers, who recently celebrated the two-year anniversary of their courthouse marriage and one-year anniversary of their over-the-top South Carolina wedding weekend.
