If you didn’t think Hamptons traffic could get any worse, this past Sunday a rowdy parade in honor of President Donald Trump stretched almost 30 miles from Southampton to Montauk.
One witness said the parade appeared to be as large as “over a thousand cars … with pro-Trump signs and honking horns creating a wild scene along Route 27.”
Hampton Sheet publisher Joan Jedell told us the unexpected traffic was actually welcomed. “Most bystanders along the trail were giving a thumbs-up as they passed. They were driving many huge Chevys and monster trucks … There were many locals in the mix.”
