Fleetwood Mac’s Lindsey Buckingham joins ‘Dreams’ TikTok brigade

You knew this was coming.

Former Fleetwood Mac guitarist Lindsey Buckingham has put his own spin on the “drinking Ocean Spray while listening to ‘Dreams'” meme, posting a clip of himself horseback riding with his daughters over the weekend. Obviously, in the clip, the 71-year-old Buckingham is drinking cranberry juice.

To recap: Idaho Falls resident Nathan Apodaca — who goes by “420doggface208” on TikTok — posted a clip of himself serenely skateboarding down the street listening to the Mac’s 1978 song “Dreams.” The clip went viral, and Apodaca subsequently raised $10,000 towards a new RV, was gifted a truckload of Ocean Spray and hung out with Mac drummer and founder Mick Fleetwood.

Both Fleetwood and the band’s singer Stevie Nicks posted their own versions at one point, which means we’re about one week away from getting a TikTok to “Dreams” from Curry Grant, the band’s lighting director, whom singer/keyboardist Christine McVie cheated on husband and Mac bassist John McVie with.

It should be noted that Buckingham isn’t even a member of Fleetwood Mac at this point, having been fired in 2018. Fleetwood told the Post recently he has “no idea” if Buckingham will return.
