Jane Seymour has never been busier amid the COVID-19 pandemic

Jane Seymour knows her chockablock pandemic schedule isn’t normal.

“It’s completely insane,” Seymour, 69, recently told Page Six. “My agents, at one point, pointed out to me that I was literally their only client at the time working in any category. I’ve worked on three projects back-to-back.”

The English-born actress has two projects out now, a Robert De Niro comedy, “The War with Grandpa,” and the raucous holiday-themed film, “Friendsgiving,” in which she plays Malin Akerman’s free-spirited mother. That doesn’t include her recurring role on “The Kominsky Method,” or that she’s currently based in Madrid playing Leonor de Aquitania for an epic mini-series about St. Francis of Assisi.

“I’m just incredibly grateful,” she continued. “I love working, and being stuck in one of the greatest cities in Europe with most of the restaurants and museums open and not many people here, it’s quite wonderful.”

Meanwhile, in her new film, “Friendsgiving,” fans will notice that Seymour reunites with her former “Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman” co-star Joe Lando.

“They needed me to be with someone at the end, so I said, ‘Well, maybe Joe will come do it.’ Joe came for one line, he was doing me a favor and it was great fun,” she explained.

The pair are close friends these days, but previously dated and disliked each other so much, they didn’t speak unless they were filming during the entire six-year run of the western series.

“It was an absolute waste of time,” Seymour confessed. “He’s apologized a trillion times and I’ve apologized. The interesting thing is if we had been a happy couple maybe we wouldn’t have had that amazing chemistry I see every time I watch one of the shows. There’s hot stuff going on there.”

She continued: “I remember it was very difficult and very painful and a lot of tears were shed. The other side of it is we ended up with a great series.”
