Kyle Richards launches annual mammogram day in honor of her mom Kathy Richards

Kyle Richards is commemorating her late mother by helping other women take preventative measures when it comes to their own health.

Kyle, 51, launched “Annual Mammogram Day” at the Bedford Breast Center on Saturday to honor Kathy Richards. Kathy died in 2002 from breast cancer.

She shared on Sunday, “Yesterday was a good day 💖 launched the annual Kyle Richards mammogram day in honor of my Mom. Women who are not in the position to get a mammogram were able to come to the @bedfordbreastcenter and get a free mammogram and screening. Thank you @bedfordbreastcenter for partnering with me to make this happen 💝🙏 #breastcancerawareness.”

The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star — who has gotten a mammogram on camera — shared photos from the day. In one snap, she posed alongside her sister, Kathy Hilton. Kathy is rumored to be joining the series in a “friend” capacity.

Kyle also filmed a video with a doctor to promote the day and early awareness. In the video, she learned how to properly give herself an at-home check.

It is unclear if “RHOBH” cameras were filming as well, but the cast has already begun to shoot scenes.
