Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds are taking their fake feud to Sam’s Club

Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds are using their famed faux rivalry for a good cause.

In a new campaign for Sam’s Club, the Marvel stars square off to raise money for their foundations: Jackman’s Laughing Man Cafe and Reynolds’ Aviation American Gin. Laughing Man donates 100% of its proceeds to educational programs and community development in several countries, while Reynolds’ Aviation Gin has been supporting industry workers who lost income due to the COVID-19 pandemic through the Bartender Emergency Assistance Program.

“We’re bringing our Feud to @samsclub. I only agreed to do this because it’s for 2 great foundations. And, it’s always an awesome day when I get to humiliate @vancityreynolds,” Jackman, 52, wrote on social media.

The pair will also be jointly supporting Toronto’s SickKids Foundation.

“Soon you’ll have the chance to help me humiliate @thehughjackman while also helping @sickkidsvs. #WinWin @aviationgin.,” Reynolds, 44, wrote.

The pair of frenemies have been “feuding” — involving several jokes and light, witty banter between them — since the release of 2008’s “X-Men Origins: Wolverine.”
