Pregnant Brittany Cartwright responds to baby bump criticism

Mom-to-be Brittany Cartwright is “going to enjoy” her pregnancy, “no matter what the trolls say.”

On Sunday, the “Vanderpump Rules” star — who is expecting her first child, a son, with husband Jax Taylor — put her critics on blast amid criticism regarding the size of her baby bump.

“Some of y’all are just sad and I wish you happiness someday,” Cartwright posted to her Instagram story, according to Us Weekly, along with a descriptor about the 16-week mark that noted, “All baby bumps at 16 weeks are different — and normal.”

The message also advised expectant mothers not to compare their 16-week bump to “anyone else’s,” as “the wide variety of baby bumps can be attributed to everything from a woman’s size and shape to whether this is her first pregnancy or her second, third or fourth.”

Cartwright, 31, added she is “happy and healthy and I’m going to enjoy my pregnancy no matter what the trolls say.”

In September, Cartwright announced her pregnancy, later revealing she and Taylor, 41, are expecting a baby boy.

In addition to Cartwright, fellow “Vanderpump Rules” alums Lala Kent and Stassi Schroeder are also pregnant and both expecting baby girls.

Last week, co-star Scheana Shay revealed she is pregnant after suffering a miscarriage over the summer.
