Ken Jennings, former ‘Jeopardy!’ champ, pays tribute to Alex Trebek

Former “Jeopardy!” champ Ken Jennings paid tribute to late host Alex Trebek on Sunday, revealing that he is “grateful for every minute I got to spend with him.”

“Alex wasn’t just the best ever at what he did. He was also a lovely and deeply decent man, and I’m grateful for every minute I got to spend with him,” Jennings posted to Twitter.

“Thinking today about his family and his Jeopardy! family—which, in a way, included millions of us,” he continued.

Jennings, who currently holds the longest win-streak on “Jeopardy!” with 74 wins, singed on as a consulting producer for the show in September 2020.

Trebek died Sunday at the age of 80 after a battle with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. He had hosted “Jeopardy!” for 36 years.
