Paulina Porizkova had a ‘total nervous breakdown’ at airport

Paulina Porizkova had a “total nervous breakdown” last week.

The former Sports Illustrated cover girl revealed on Instagram Monday that last week, she and her two sons with late Cars singer Ric Ocasek, Jonathan and Oliver, went to Costa Rica in a “desperate attempt to change scenery.”

But unfortunately for the Czech-born stunner, 55, her passport had expired.

“So we were put right back on the same plane,” she wrote. “I had a total nervous breakdown in the airport, and they actually had to put me in a wheelchair to take me back to the plane, I was crying so hard I don’t even remember it. I think this will be a really funny story — soon.”

Porizkova added that she’s off to a “fancy spa” for a week and acknowledged that she understands how “amazingly privileged” she is to be able to afford such a luxury.

Last Friday, the “Her Alibi” actress shared another post in which she revealed that although she loved her late husband she was “clearly delusional.”

“I believed I knew him. I believed we had the same definition of ‘love.’ Grieving him is an equal amount of heartbreak and rage.”

Ocasek died in September 2019. Although he and Porizkova were separated, they still shared their $10 million Gramercy Park townhouse. Porizkova was the rocker’s third wife.

The pair met during the filming of the music video for the Cars’ song “Drive” in 1984; Ocasek was 40 and married to his second wife while Porizkova was 18.

They married in August 1989.

Shortly after Ocasek’s death, Porizkova was shocked to discover that she had been cut out of his will and would be forced to move out of their home.

“I have made no provision for my wife … as we are in the process of divorcing. Even if I should die before our divorce is final … Paulina is not entitled to any elective share … because she has abandoned me,” Ocasek wrote in his will.
