Chrissy Teigen shares how Luna is processing the loss of baby Jack

Chrissy Teigen shared how her 4-year-old daughter, Luna, is dealing with the loss of the brother she never met.

“I’m just thinking a lot about Jack today. Our house is very open about life, death, grief, everything really,” Teigen, 34, captioned a video on Monday, showing Jack’s box of ashes that had just arrived. “We try to explain things well and answer every question imaginable in a beautiful, spiritual but literal way. I know this is a weird post but I just wanted to share these to always remember my incredibly empathetic little mini.”

Teigen shared that Luna placed a teddy bear, or as she called it a “therapy bear,” beside Jack’s ashes as well as a little treat, saying, “this is the cutest, most beautiful thing.”

“The best part is I came down and she gave him a piece of her favorite snack, a tiny piece of Pirate’s Booty,” Teigen said as she filmed a piece of the salty snack atop the box.

The “Cravings” author also shared a video of Luna speaking to Jack and introducing him to herself and the bear.

“Hi guys. Hi, this is baby Jack, and I’m Teddy. I’m Luna. How are you doing today?” little Luna said in the video.

Teigen — who shares Luna and 2-year-old son Miles with husband John Legend — was overwhelmed by her daughter’s love for her brother she never got to meet, calling her “amazing.”

“Life is infinitely better with [Luna] in it,” Chrissy wrote. “I miss you, Jack. we miss you a lot.”

Teigen suffered a pregnancy loss in October after going on bed rest and experiencing bleeding for a month. The Twitter Queen stayed quiet on social media for a while and then opened up about the traumatic experience weeks later.

“My mom, John and I each held him and said our own private goodbyes, mom sobbing through Thai prayer,” she wrote in a Medium piece. “I asked the nurses to show me his hands and feet and I kissed them over and over and over again. I have no idea when I stopped. It could have been 10 minutes or an hour.”
