‘Kelly Clarkson Show’ staffers test positive for COVID-19

Production on NBC’s “The Kelly Clarkson Show” will continue as scheduled this week, days after some staffers tested positive for COVID-19.

Page Six was told Monday there was no change in this week’s production schedule for Season 2 of the daytime talk show, which is being filmed with a virtual audience due to the coronavirus pandemic.

On Friday, Deadline reported members of the show’s production team received positive test results during routine testing. As a result of the positive tests, retests, and contract tracing were done.

On Saturday, “Entertainment Tonight” reported that 38-year-old Clarkson tested negative for COVID-19 despite being exposed, per a source.

Coronavirus cases have continued to rise in recent weeks, with several shows — including Bravo’s “Real Housewives of Atlanta” and “Family Karma” — being shut down due to cast or crew testing positive.

Reps for Clarkson did not immediately return our request for comment.
