How Daphne Oz is embracing indulgence during the pandemic

Daphne Oz has been leaning into self-care during quarantine.

The mom of four told Page Six Style her favorite indulgence is taking a bath.

“Twenty minutes before bed I will take time to do a little something extra for my skin, or sometimes I get to take a bath, which is my favorite thing in the world,” she said. “I’ve listened to a lot of books on tape, which I always love because I feel like I’m getting smarter as I’m taking a bath.”

The pandemic also means that Oz — the co-owner of clean beauty skincare line Loum Beauty —  is doing her own hair and makeup for television appearances.

“I’ve actually learned a lot and I’m getting good at things what I wasn’t good at before,” said the 34-year-old daughter of Dr. Mehmet Oz. “I’m getting a certain curl down and I have master the curling iron.”

In addition to her beauty routine, the “Chew” co-host loves indulging in good food and wine. She recently created a surprise pairing: rich, buttery pancakes with a bottle of Brancott Sauvignon Blanc wine for dinner.

“It was such a nice and indulgent moment and that’s the thing that’s come out of this time for me. It’s so great to have a celebratory moment,” she said. “If you want to do Thai takeout with your Sauvignon Blanc, there’s no time to wait and say ‘I’ll do that next week or next month.’ If you have opportunity, take it now — that is really my mantra coming out of quarantine.”
