Gwyneth Paltrow and her kids visit her father Bruce’s ‘resting place’

Gwyneth Paltrow paid a visit to her late father, Bruce Paltrow, on Thanksgiving.

The Goop founder, 48, and her two children, 16-year-old Apple and 14-year-old Moses, visited her dad’s “resting place” on what would have been the famed director and producer’s 77th birthday.

“On this November 26th, I was able to visit my fathers resting place (on his birthday) with these two loves of my life,” she captioned the photo. “Happy thanksgiving. Life has incredible highs and lows. Perhaps feeling it all at the same time is the art.”

Gwyneth’s friends sent words of encouragement, including Reese Witherspoon, who commented, “So true.” Katy Perry commented with a simple red heart emoji.

Bruce Paltrow’s ashes are buried underneath a tree at his daughter’s Hamptons home. The Oscar winner and Brad Falchuk tied the knot at the spot in 2018, she said previously on the “Armchair Expert” podcast, telling Dax Shepard: “His ashes are buried under this beautiful tree at my house and we got married there — right near my dad… kind of on my dad.”

Bruce Paltrow died in 2002 at age 58 of complications from cancer and pneumonia. At the time, he had been celebrating his daughter’s 30th birthday in Rome.
