Kaley Cuoco’s dog dies months after adoption

Kaley Cuoco and husband Karl Cook’s rescue dog Petunia has died.

The couple took to Instagram with separate dedications to the senior pooch, whom they adopted earlier this fall.

“We love you dear special Petunia!” Cuoco, 34, wrote alongside a photo of their late pet. “You are the reason we continue to save dogs just like you. And we will never stop.”

Cook, 29, also shared his grief over Petunia’s passing, writing, “After a life of untold loneliness and hardship she is at rest. For that I am happy.”

He continued, “She is resting at peace, with everyday’s sunset to warm her. That is what matters most. Petunia it is not the amount of time together, but it’s affects on the soul. You affected everyone who met you. You’re forever my old lady😭😘😍 I miss you so much already, sleep my sweet angel❤️❤️❤️.”

Petunia was adopted from Paws For Life K9 Rescue, a California organization that rescues dogs from shelters and trains some to become therapy dogs.
