“American Idol” alum Gabby Barrett and Cade Foehner are new parents.
The couple — who met while competing on Season 16 of the show in 2018 — welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Baylah May, last week.

Baylah May Foehner,” Barrett, 20, captioned a post on Instagram along with a photo of the baby.
She said Baylah was born on Jan. 18.
Foehner, 24, commented on the pic, “What an honor to be your husband. Thank you for bearing me a child my Wife!”
Foehner also wrote about his life’s blessings in a message to his Instagram account.
“The Lord Jesus has given me so much that I scarce can believe it. Not only to be saved from sin because of His Gospel but to also be given a Wife who is not only my best friend in the whole wide world but who also has bore me a child,” he wrote. “I am a blessed man beyond my understanding.”
Barrett announced in August 2020 that she was pregnant. .
The couple married in 2019.
