Heather Rae Young shows off engagement ring upgrade from Tarek El Moussa

She may not be married yet, but Heather Rae Young already has a new engagement ring.

On Thursday, the 33-year-old “Selling Sunset” star showed off a massive update to the 8-carat emerald-cut sparkler fiancé Tarek El Moussa initially used to propose, calling the new diamond-covered band “breathtaking.”

“I never planned my ‘dream wedding’ but I saved rings I loved for the past 10 years,” she wrote in her Instagram Stories, also revealing that the couple designed the new band together.

“Gold with Emerald cut was always my dream ring,” she added.

El Moussa, 39, proposed with the giant diamond — set as a solitaire on a simple gold band — in July 2020, on their one-year anniversary of meeting.

The update includes smaller emerald-cut diamonds that wrap around the entire band, framing the center stone. The original ring and the update were both done by jeweler Benny Hayoun.

The couple, whose wedding is set for this year, also shared a peek at their engagement shoot on Thursday.

Young recently went wedding dress shopping at Galia Lahav Haute Couture showroom with co-star Chrishell Stause, trying on a short style that seemed to excite the pair.

Heather Rae Young’s original engagement ring featured an 8-carat emerald cut diamond on a plain gold band.

El Moussa recently declared that his ex-wife Christian Anstead, with whom he shares children Taylor, 10, and Brayden, 5, will not be present at their nuptials.

“Small, less distractions, more intimate, better conversations with the people around us. You know, we just think smaller is better,” he said.
