Karamo Brown replaces Ryan Seacrest on E!’s Golden Globes 2021 red carpet

Karamo Brown is taking on the red carpet.

After Ryan Seacrest announced his departure from “E!’s Live from the Red Carpet,” “Queer Eye” star Karamo Brown took his hosting spot at the 2021 Golden Globes — the first awards show since Seacrest’s exit announcement.

Wearing a Burberry suit, Brown, 40, is co-hosting Sunday’s pre-show coverage alongside longtime red carpet staple Giuliana Rancic. The duo has been interviewing nominees virtually as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

Seacrest, 46, hosted the awards-season staple for 14 years, but the network never announced an official replacement. In his leaving announcement earlier this month, Seacrest said he was moving on to “new adventures.”

“I’ll miss the whole crew that works so hard behind the scenes and of course my amazing partner Giuliana,” he said. “Thanks to everyone for watching all these years.”
