Lala Kent gives birth to daughter Ocean

It’s a wave of happiness for the Emmett family.

“Vanderpump Rules” star Lala Kent and her fiancé, Hollywood producer Randall Emmett, have welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Ocean.

“Ocean Kent Emmett,” the 30-year-old new mom captioned a photo of herself cradling the newborn on Monday.

Kent’s co-star Katie Maloney immediately commented, “Beautiful mama! Love you! Proud of you!! Can’t wait to meet Ocean ❤️❤️❤️.”

Pregnant “Vanderpump” alum Brittany Carwright chimed in, “Congratulations!!! ❤️❤️ So proud of you!!! I love you both sooo so much!! Hello beautiful Ocean 😍❤️💕.”

“Such a stunning mama. What a magical day. We love Baby Ocean ❤️❤️❤️❤️,” fellow new mom Stassi Schroeder commented.

Emmett, 49, posted the same hospital photo of Kent with Ocean, captioning it, “She’s healthy, beautiful, and perfect like her mother! ❤️.”

While it is unclear what inspired the name Ocean, Kent is in homage to the reality star’s late father, Kent Burningham, who died unexpectedly in 2018. The Give Them Lala Beauty founder adopted his name as her stage name, as she was born Lauren Elyse Burningham.

Ocean is the second “Vanderpump Rules” baby to arrive, as Schroeder welcomed her daughter, Hartford Charlie Rose Clark, in January.

Ocean is the first child for Kent and the third for Emmett, who is also dad to daughters London and Rylee with ex-wife Ambyr Childers.

Kent and Emmett announced that they were expecting on Kent’s 30th birthday in September.

“I had the best gift given to me, my body also helped out too… I am pregnant,” she said on the “Give Them Lala… With Randall” podcast. They announced later, with an elaborate gender reveal party, that they were expecting a baby girl.

Kent frequently shared updates — including some sans clothes — throughout her pregnancy. Then early this past Sunday, Emmett teased via Instagram that Kent was in labor.

The couple has been engaged since Kent’s birthday in 2018. Their April 2020 nuptials were postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
