We tried Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint, and here’s our honest review

Ready to “eaze” back into wearing makeup post-quarantine? Rihanna’s got you covered.

Widely celebrated for its game-changing 50 shades of foundation, the pop star’s Fenty Beauty brand launched its first-ever skin tint in late March, and it’s been making major waves online ever since.

Priced at $29.50, Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint is available in 25 flexible shades, and can be applied with fingers, a brush or a sponge. Unlike Fenty’s full-coverage Pro Filt’r foundation ($36), it offers buildable-light to-medium coverage, making it ideal for hot spring and summer weather — or simply touching up your appearance before a Zoom meeting.

Eaze Drop also includes the brand’s “QuickBlur Complex,” which the brand says “instantly evens out your complexion and give a flattering blurred effect.” And it’s billed as humidity-, sweat- and transfer-resistant — all assets in the age of face mask-wearing.

Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint ($29.50)

PROS: Both Page Six Style editor Elana and the Post’s managing producer Kayla found the shade-matching process fairly simple, and were surprised that despite Eaze Drop’s lightweight feel, it was easy to build up to a solidly medium level of coverage.

Kayla wore it to a party and loved how it looked in photos, while Elana was impressed that it really did seem to “blur” her under-eye circles and acne scarring for a weekend spent Instagramming outdoors. Both noted that it lasted all day long without fading.

CONS: Elana, whose skin is quite dry, made the early mistake of applying Eaze Drop on her freshly washed face as she would with a tinted moisturizer, and found it difficult to blend and build up. It’s definitely not a hydrating product, but priming with moisturizer solved that problem. Since its finish leans more matte, fans of a dewier look might also try adding a face mist post-application.
