Josh Duggar’s wife should have left the former reality TV star years ago, a source said.
Anna Duggar, 32, is pregnant with the couple’s seventh child. Her disgraced husband was indicted on child pornography charges in Arkansas last month, according to a report.
“Anna should have divorced Josh after he admitted to cheating,” a source told Fox News, recalling Duggar’s confession that he cheated on his wife in 2015 — the same year that allegations surfaced that he had molested five underage girls as a teenager. At the time, TLC pulled the series “19 Kids and Counting,” which starred Duggar, 33, as the eldest son of a Christian conservative couple.
“It appears she is a little brainwashed,” the source said about Anna Duggar, who has defended her husband of 12 years against the most recent allegations that he downloaded images of child pornography. “I definitely don’t think she should continue to have kids with him.”
On Thursday, Duggar was released from the Washington County Detention Center in Arkansas. Magistrate Judge Christy Comstock ordered him confined to the home of family friends who have agreed to be his custodian during his release and prohibited him from any Internet-accessible devices.
His trial on possession of child pornography begins July 6. He has denied the allegations. If convicted, he could face decades in jail.
