H.E.R. and Brandi Carlile to perform at Clive Davis’ Grammy bash

Awards season may be over — but there’s still one more party to go.

Clive Davis’ postponed second Grammy bash is finally happening on Saturday with H.E.R. and Brandi Carlile performing.

H.E.R. will perform Prince’s “Nothing Compares 2 U” and Carlile will play Joni Mitchell’s “A Case of You.” We’re told they’ve already recorded their performances for the event.

“Clive never reveals who performs in advance, but he was initially speechless. He was telling friends [H.E.R.] was among the most electrifying, career-defining live performances he’s seen in recent years,” a source told us.

Davis was also “blown away” by Carlile’s rendition of Mitchell’s tune. “Brandi’s performance was absolutely award-worthy. I cannot think of a more fitting tribute to the legendary Joni Mitchell,” the source said.

Davis will reminisce about some of his favorite musical performances throughout the years during the event. The hitmaker will also conduct interviews with stars including Mitchell, Elton John and Paul Simon, as well as Oprah Winfrey, who will pay tribute to Tina Turner.

Part one of Davis’ Grammy celebration kicked off in January ahead of music’s biggest awards show, but he was forced to postpone a sequel event due to an unexpected Bell’s palsy diagnosis at the time.

Rosario Dawson, Chris Bosh, Jon Batiste, Depeche Mode, Don Lemon, Gladys Knight and Judy Collins are a few of the 2,000 famous names who’ve RSVP’d for the latest bash.
