Shanna Moakler is standing up for herself yet again.
The ex-wife of Travis Barker doubled down on her denial that she’s not there for her children.
“The claims of being absent from my children’s lives are false and incredibly hurtful,” Moakler recently told People. “Co-parenting is hard, but I have always and will continue to prioritize my children’s happiness and well-being.”
The 46-year-old — who shares Landon, 17, and Alabama, 15, with Barker, and Atiana, 22, with ex Oscar De La Hoya — was accused by her two younger children of not playing a meaningful role in raising them.
In her latest defense against the allegation, the model and reality star said she refused to get involved with “a vindictive parenting competition.”
“Encouraging relationships with both parents is a duty on both mother and father,” she told People in an article published Tuesday. “I know one day my children will see through the fame and money machine they have been thrust into and realize their mother loves and will always be there for them.”
The claims that Moakler was an absentee mom were made earlier this week on social media, when Landon said that his mom “isn’t in [their] lives like” their dad and then Alabama agreed with him in an Instagram post.
“Can you guys stop painting her out to be an amazing mom? Did your moms ask to see you on Mother’s Day [because] mine didn’t? I’m done keeping it a secret, reality shows,” Alabama wrote.
She also shared in a TikTok video that said she and her mom aren’t on speaking terms, writing in a video, “I cut off family too. They do you the dirtiest.”
Moakler called the claims by Landon and Alabama “completely rediculous [sic]” earlier this week.
The family drama has been unfolding amid rumors that the Blink-182 drummer allegedly had an affair with his current girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian’s sister Kim Kardashian.
Moakler claimed that she once caught Kim and Barker having an affair, which ultimately caused them to split in 2008 after four years of marriage.
A source close to Kim, however, denied the rumors, saying that Kim and Barker never had a romantic relationship.
Barker, 45, and Kourtney, 42, have been dating since January.
