Zoë Kravitz ‘completely convinced’ Channing Tatum to ditch his Crocs

Crocs may be the hottest shoes of the year, but Zoë Kravitz isn’t a fan.

The 32-year-old actress will is set to make her directorial debut with “Pussy Island,” a genre thriller starring Channing Tatum — and at the pair’s first meeting, she made her distaste for the foam footwear known.

“When someone can just come out and tell me I should not be wearing Crocs, and is so adamant about it, she completely convinced me and I never wear Crocs anymore,” the “Magic Mike” actor, 41, told Deadline.

“I was just trying to be a good friend, Chan,” Kravitz retorted.

“I get it, but I totally loved Crocs for a hot second, and in one hang she was like, you can’t ever do that again. And I said, ‘OK, fine,'” Tatum continued.

Kravitz went on to clarify that while she’s not completely anti-clog, she didn’t feel they were a particularly good look on her movie’s leading man.

“Just to be clear, there are people out there who can pull off the Crocs thing; I just wasn’t sure you were one of them,” she quipped.

Kravitz isn’t the only star with strong feelings about the ugly-cool shoes.

“I found it laughable that anyone would ever feel stylish or comfortable in those horrors,” Tan France of “Queer Eye” told Page Six Style in 2019. “Rubber shoes? There’s no way that’s going to have anyone’s feet smelling anything but swampy.”

But Victoria Beckham might just be the ultimate Crocs hater; when Justin Bieber sent her a pair from his recent Drew House collaboration, she polled her followers about whether she should even deem them worthy of a try-on.

Ultimately, the former Spice Girl declared that she’d “rather die” than step out in the shoes.
