Denim fit for a Duchess.

Kate Middleton swapped her signature skinny jeans for a cropped pair from & Other Stories ($89) on Monday.

And while her light-wash version is almost sold out, the same high-waisted style is currently available in a range of other shades.

For a visit to London’s Natural History Museum, the 39-year-old royal paired the straight-leg pants with a salmon-colored Chloé blazer ($1,530) and her go-to puff-sleeved Ralph Lauren blouse.

The Duchess of Cambridge completed her casual look with equally practical footwear: the Veja leather sneakers ($120) both she and Meghan Markle love.

In addition to Orella hoop earrings ($22) and a Spells of Love double chain necklace ($125), she also accessorized with her personalized pendant necklace, which features the initials of her three children.

The dressed-down outing, during which Middleton promoted the museum’s Urban Nature Project, marked one of her rare casual appearances.

She often opts for coat dresses and suits, such as the bright blue blazer-and-skirt combo that sparked Princess Diana comparisons in May.

And while it’s not the Duchess’ first time donning denim, she typically sticks to more classic skinny styles in darker washes.

Middleton’s first foray into straight-legged denim may have been at her recent vaccine appointment, where she paired an H&M top with the same & Other Stories pair.

She’s hardly alone in saying “see you” to skinny jeans; Gen Z gave many millennials a kick in the pants by calling out the curve-hugging trend earlier this year.

And as more and more celebrities try out different denim styles, here’s hoping a royal endorsement of the return of low-rise jeans isn’t on the horizon.
