The reality star, 40, didn’t leave her skin-baring styles at home during her visit to the Vatican on Monday, instead opting for a sheer, off-the-shoulder white lace dress by Barragán that exposed swaths of skin across her midsection and back. (At least the cutouts formed a cross?)
She paired the peekaboo gown with eye-catching gray sunglasses for the tour, where she was joined by supermodel Kate Moss and her 18-year-old daughter, Lila Grace.
While the star recently said she won’t ditch her sexy style as a lawyer, it seems she wasn’t switching her signature look for the pope, either.
It’s not the first time Kardashian’s sported confounding cutouts: She’s famously a fan of threadbare attire, even joking that one of her barely-there dresses was “not for you to understand.”
While she covered her latest eye-popping ensemble with a leather jacket to enter the Sistine Chapel itself, many fans were perplexed by the sexy style.
“Kimmy, have you no decency? We understand you are decorum absent, but must you find it necessary to parade your assets in this manner at the VATICAN? Disrespectful…,” one person tweeted.
“Uh I had to buy a scarf to go into the Vatican to cover my shoulders because I had a sleeveless shirt on. There is no way they let her in the Vatican without her shoulders covered,” another added.
The Vatican Museum’s dress code prohibits visitors from wearing sleeveless or low-cut garments and shorts or skirts that hit above the knee.
Perhaps Kardashian’s used to dressing for her ex Kanye West’s Sunday Services, where she once showed up in a skintight latex look.
