The Queen of Hip-Hop Soul has got summer style for days.
Mary J. Blige soaked up the sun in Miami on Sunday, hitting the beach with a few friends while wearing a bold turquoise bikini with sparkling embellishments on the ties.
The 50-year-old “Family Affair” singer also donned a flowing black cover-up with bold mandala prints, as well as a stack of bangles and giant Nefertiti hoop earrings ($299.99) from her own jewelry line, Sister Love.
Blige has been on quite the style streak lately. In January, she celebrated her 50th birthday in a glamorous gold bikini; in June, she hit the red carpet premiere of her Amazon Prime documentary, “Mary J. Blige’s My Life,” in a silver fringe Alexandre Vauthier Haute Couture gown with hip-high slits.
In the doc, which was released on June 25, the musician opens up about her struggles with depression and substance abuse, even revealing that she “didn’t want to live” during particularly dark times.
Blige also told us she was sent to etiquette school early in her career.
