Shawn Johnson shares intimate video from birth of second child

She stuck the landing.

Former Olympian Shawn Johnson and her husband, NFL star Andrew East, welcomed their second child together last week, and are debuting their first son with an intimate video and photos shared to Johnson’s social media.

An 8:44 minute clip shared to The East Family’s YouTube finds Andrew, 29, gushing over becoming a father for the second time before cutting to footage of Shawn, also 29, heading to the hospital for her scheduled c-section.

“A moment we’ve been excited to share, meet our perfect little baby boy,” reads the video’s caption. “We are so in love. Momma and little man are doing really well and are healthy and happy.”

The athletes are already parents to 20-month-old daughter Drew Hazel.

“Drew’s loving her new role as big sister and is loving her cuddle time with her little brother every day,” it continues. “We’re in heaven and are so thankful you gave us this time to be together as a family. More details on the birth to come soon, stay tuned :)”

The clip shows Andrew gently caressing Shawn’s forehead as doctors performed the c-section, allowing cameras to capture footage of the newborn in his first moments in the world.

He measured in at 21 inches long and weighed “almost 10 lbs.”

“These are the best days,” the long snapper says near the end of the clip as his son lies on his chest.

Choosing not to reveal the infant’s name, the couple added, “We cannot wait to officially introduce him to you.”

The proud parents also shared photos of their son on Instagram, with Andrew captioning his Instagram story, “Meet me new best friend.”

Shawn posted the same photos to her own account, captioning the black and white pics, “Welcome to the world little man! We love you so much!”

Shawn previously suffered a miscarriage prior to welcoming Drew and her newborn son.
