The number of outfits Cardi B wore at the AMAs just kept going “Up.”
The 29-year-old rapper hosted the 2021 AMAs on Sunday, delivering on her promise to “bring [her] personality to the AMAs stage.” In true Cardi B fashion, she sported a series of show-stopping styles over the course of the night, ranging from a masked red carpet look to two head-turning headpieces.

Before taking the stage, Cardi B walked the red-carpet in a face-obscuring Schiaparelli ensemble. The custom couture included a floor-length black dress and veil, in addition to a gold mask and earrings featuring eye and finger charms. The star – whose sported Schiaparelli’s surrealist styles before – completed the ensemble with long gold nails affixed to her black gloves.

Talk about starting off on a high note. The “Money” rapper kicked off her hosting duties in a curve-hugging black gown, topped off with a sky-high couture headpiece by Alexandre Vauthier.

When it comes to show-stopping style moments, Cardi B has it in the bag. The star rolled out atop several Louis Vuitton suitcases, pairing the luxury luggage with a black velvet coat dress and sparkly silver boots.

Cardi wore this bright green Jean Paul Gaultier gown while taking home the award for favorite hip hop song for “Up,” making history as the first female rapper to win the category more than once.

Next, the superstar stepped out in a different feather-filled look: a purple velvet Jean-Louis Sabaji gown complete with bold feathered sleeves and crystal embellishments.

Cardi’s clearly a fan of elaborate headpieces. Later in the show, she stepped out with a large black lace fan on her head, teaming the dramatic accessory with a black and white bustier and sheer fingerless gloves.
