‘Selling Sunset’ stars Chrishell Stause and Jason Oppenheim have split

“Selling Sunset” stars Chrishell Stause and Jason Oppenheim have broken up five months after going public with their relationship and seven months after beginning their romantic relationship, Oppenheim confirmed on Instagram.

Apparently, the split came down to the couple’s “different wants regarding a family.”

“While Chrishell and I are no longer together, we remain best friends and we will always love and support one another,” Oppenheim wrote via Instagram Tuesday. “She was the most amazing girlfriend I’ve ever had, and it was the happiest and most fulfilling relationship of my life.”

The statement continued, “While we have different wants regarding a family, we continue to have the utmost respect for one another. Chrishell is an exceptional human being and loving her and having her in my life is one of the best things that has ever happened to me.”

The couple’s split comes less than a month after Oppenheim, 44, told Page Six that he was “in love” with Stause, 40.

“Oh, I love her, yeah,” he told us on Nov. 23.

Two days later, the co-stars spent Thanksgiving together, volunteering at the Los Angeles Mission. Most recently, Stause posted a video joking with Oppenheim as they finished filming Season 5 of the hit Netflix show.

Stause and Oppenheim worked together for two years at his brokerage, the Oppenheim Group, before they announced they were dating in July. Since then, the two haven’t been afraid to engage in some lunchtime PDA in between closings.

Oppenheim told Page Six last month, “I’m just going to keep all that between us,” when asked if he was considering getting down on one knee anytime soon.

Prior to dating Stause, Oppenheim dated Stause’s BFF and co-star Mary Fitzgerald on and off before “Selling Sunset” premiered in 2019. The two have remained close friends and work colleagues, and she has since married French pastry chef and model Romain Bonnet

As for Stause, viewers watched her post-marital journey after her now-ex-husband Justin Hartley filed for divorce after two years of marriage. Their split played out on Season 3 of “Selling Sunset,” on which Stause claimed that the “This Is Us” actor asked to end their marriage via text. She finalized her divorce in January.

Stause then began dating “Dancing With the Stars” pro Keo Motsepe after they competed against each other on Season 29 of “DWTS,” but the two didn’t last long, breaking up after three months of dating in February.

Neither Stause nor Oppenheim’s reps immediately responded to Page Six’s request for comment.

Stause and Oppenheim’s relationship will play out on Season 5 of “Selling Sunset,” premiering in 2022 on Netflix.
