Steve Aoki chucks cakes at fans at Nebula

World-renowned DJ Steve Aoki had his cake — and threw it, too — when he headlined a party at new Times Square hotspot Nebula this week.

Aoki oddly requested five cakes be delivered to the club before his set, leaving “fans begging to get caked,” a spy at the hotspot told Page Six.

We hear Aoki “happily obliged” — and had clubgoers speechless when he ended up chucking massive sheet cakes onto the dance floor.

“I couldn’t believe my eyes. They begged to get ‘caked,’ and he coated his sweet fans [with cake],” the gobsmacked source said.

Aoki, who recently said he wants to be cryogenically frozen with his family after his death, performed at the sold-out megaclub from 1 a.m. until around 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday, we’re told.

Call it the icing on the cake?

Meanwhile, Nebula will go from nightclub to day club on New Year’s Day when legendary Brooklyn DJ Victor Calderone brings his annual EVOLVE party to the venue.

Calderone’s bash will kick off at 10 a.m., and feature special guest Avision, we hear. Calderone is aiming to keep the party going until 4 a.m. “the next morning,” an insider told Page Six.

Yang Gao, and 1Oak and Butter group vet Richie Romero opened the venue that bills itself as “the newest and largest nightlife and event venue to open in Manhattan this year” back in September. On New Year’s Eve, it’ll offer a “five-hour premium open bar, complimentary lite fare and a live DJ performance.”

Aoki just headlined a “metaverse Christmas party” hosted by Monkey Kingdom, an NFT org.
