“My Unorthodox Life” star Julia Haart allegedly had a boob job and charged the procedure to Elite World Group prior to her firing, an internal investigation has revealed.
The Netflix star allegedly underwent breast augmentation surgery in December 2021 that was paid for by the company she formerly co-owned with her now-estranged husband, Silvio Scaglia.
Court docs reveal that Scaglia, 63, claims Haart, 50, abused her role of CEO and overspent on the company’s dime. Meanwhile, Haart insists in the docs that she didn’t take a salary and had an agreement that all her expenses would be paid for by the company.
“Julia had a boob job in Westchester over Christmas,” a source told us.
Another source familiar with the incident confirmed to Page Six that Haart charged a boob job to the company, which was discovered by internal financial audits in the wake of her exit.
As Page Six previously reported, Haart was fired from her job at Elite World Group earlier this month. She filed for divorce from Scaglia just hours after her exit, and later applied for a restraining order. Company COO Brotherton is also believed to have been suspended from the company.
We’re told cameras for “My Unorthodox Life” are still filming with Haart despite her dramatic departure from the talent media company.
Sources say she’s still living at the $65 million Tribeca apartment she shared with Scaglia, with one insider noting, “I don’t know how much longer that will last for.”
A source familiar with the situation previously told Page Six that new Elite CEO Paolo Barbieri is carrying out an investigation into the company’s finances amid Scaglia suing his estranged wife for allegedly “illegally” withdrawing $850,000 from a joint account.
“Anyone reading Mr. Scaglia’s complaint filed against Ms. Haart personally will know that the legal word alleged in the complaint is ‘misappropriation,’” the source said. “That means, in layperson terms, ‘theft.’”
Former staffers also told us that Haart spent a “fortune” on designer clothing and five-star travel.
“Any allegation of impropriety is demonstrably false. Julia’s compensation structure was designed and implemented by Silvio Scaglia who personally approved each and every expense,” reps for Haart told Page Six. “Julia remains confident the courts will validate the truth despite baseless – and desperate – accusations.”
Haart’s attorney, Marty Singer, also released a statement to Page Six, stating the claims against his client “are not based in fact and an attempt for Silvio Scaglia to take the attention off of his own history of failed investments.”
“In fact, the company still owned by Scaglia that has any value is the company that was run by Haart, who took over the operations of the business and as a result its valuation has increased over five times from $90 million to $500 million,” the statement continued. “The account that is the basis of a lawsuit is a jointly owned account, and the same account that Mr. Scaglia used to pay his own divorce lawyers.”
