Kanye West a ‘no-show’ at his ‘Donda 2’ afterparty in Miami

Kanye West was a no-show to the afterparty for his new “Donda 2″ album performance.

We hear that following West’s live show at LoanDepot Park in Miami, the rapper was supposed to turn up to an afterparty at Club XXIII hosted by his close pal, Justin LaBoy.

“His team spent money on the party,” says a source. “He was supposed to be there.”

But while West was absent, plenty of his famous friends showed up — including 2 Chainz, DaBaby, Fabolous, Pusha T, and Hollywood Unlocked’s Jason Lee.

The Game, who was onstage alongside West at the “Donda 2” show, rapped from the DJ booth at the afterparty, an attendee told us.

“All these people showed up and were wondering ‘Where is Kanye?'” says a source. “Every time a Sprinter [van] pulled up, people were like, ‘Is it him?'”

People still managed to have fun without the man-of-the-hour. “It was great,” says a partygoer. “People just gave up and had a good time. It was a running joke, ‘Is he here yet?'”

West’s “Donda Experience Performance” reportedly started two hours late and struggled with technical issues. The show included samples of his ex, Kim Kardashian’s “Saturday Night Live” monologue, and West trolled her new boyfriend in his song “Eazy,” with its instantly infamous lyrics about wanting to “beat Pete Davidson’s ass.”

Also joining West on stage at the show were Jack Harlow, Alicia Keys, Pusha T, DaBaby, Marilyn Manson, Migos and Playboi Carti. Famous fans in the crowd included Elon Musk, French Montana and Diddy.

A rep for West did not respond to a request for comment.
