Kelly Ripa gives her opinion on Ryan Seacrest’s girlfriend, Aubrey Paige
Kelly Ripa gives Ryan Seacrest’s girlfriend a big thumbs-up.
“If you two break up, I’m going into seclusion. I am so fond of her,” Ripa told Seacrest of Aubrey Paige on “Live with Kelly and Ryan” Monday.
Ripa, 51, shared that Seacrest, 47, recently attended an intimate birthday dinner for her husband, Mark Consuelos, where she got to spend time with her co-host’s leading lady.
Even though Consuelos’ “nearest and dearest” friends were on the guest list, Ripa called Paige “the most exciting guest that came.”
The “Hope & Faith” alum even gave a toast to the model, joking to the group, “‘We’re all happy you’re here and that you exist because we weren’t sure there was somebody [for Seacrest].'”
Ripa, 51, revealed it was the first time she has ever met one of Seacrest’s significant others, quipping she was a little suspicious of whether Paige was real.
“We were starting to be like, ‘Maybe he doesn’t have a special person and maybe we should check in on him more often?'” she playfully jabbed.
And Ripa was not the only person to weigh in on Seacrest’s relationship, as Consuelos, 51, also shared his thoughts at the party.
“Mark pulled me aside at the beginning of the night,” the “American Idol” host shared. “He said, ‘Can I ask you a question? She’s really tall. She’s taller than you and much taller in heels. How does that work?'”
Seacrest recalled, “He had that dead-serious look. He was so confused. He was like, ‘When you walk together, who’s arm goes where?'”
Seacrest, 47, has been romantically linked to Paige, 24, since May 2021 when they were spotted enjoying a Hamptons getaway over Memorial Day weekend.
Prior to Paige, Seacrest was in a long-term relationship with model Shayna Taylor. They dated on and off for nearly seven years but they announced that they were done for good in June 2020.
“Ryan and Shayna decided to end their romantic relationship amicably some time ago,” a rep said at the time. “They remain good friends, each other’s biggest supporters and will always cherish their time together as a couple.”
