Page Six’s Carlos Greer joins ‘Extra’

Congratulations to our own Carlos Greer!

Long-running entertainment news show “Extra” has hired Greer as a correspondent in its New York bureau, and he will also continue serving up scoops for Page Six.

Greer previously co-hosted the nationally syndicated show “Page Six TV” with Variety’s Elizabeth Wagmeister and SiriusXM’s “Bevelations” host and author Bevy Smith. He started working for “Extra” as a special correspondent in 2019.

Greer also hosted the digital crime series “New York Post Reports: Off the Record” on Discovery + and ID GO in 2020.

Greer’s relationship with “Extra” started over a decade ago when he appeared on the show as a commentator for People, where he was a writer-reporter before joining Page Six in 2014.

“It’s like a full-circle moment. I’ve known many of the producers for years, and they are the best in the business. I’m looking forward to being a part of ‘Extra”s next generation of entertainment news,” he said.

As a correspondent, Greer has already interviewed stars such as Rihanna, Denzel Washington and Jason Bateman.

He will report to “Extra” senior executive producer Lisa Gregorisch-Dempsey, executive producers Theresa Coffino and Jeremy Spiegel and New York bureau chief Marie Hickey.

“Extra” is hosted by Billy Bush and produced by Warner Bros. Unscripted TV in association with Telepictures and distributed by Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution.

The show was recently nominated for its ninth consecutive Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Entertainment News Program.

Watch Greer’s coverage of the 2022 Billboard Music Awards on “Extra” Monday at 7 p.m. ET on Fox 5 New York.
