Lisa Hochstein slams Lenny’s girlfriend’s comments: ‘He lied to both of us’
Lisa Hochstein is doubling down on being blindsided by Lenny’s divorce announcement after his new girlfriend, Katharina Mazepa, claimed that the “Real Housewives of Miami” stars were already separated.
“Since finding out just two weeks ago, my priority remains the same – our children. As a mother, their happiness, safety and protection from all of this remain my ultimate priority,” Lisa told Page Six exclusively Thursday.
“Unfortunately, this is a case of a man lying to two women at the same time.”
While Lisa said she doesn’t “blame” Mazepa for her marital strife, she did suggest that the former Miss Vienna could be using the plastic surgeon to “get ahead.”
“I don’t blame [Katharina] for what’s happening, we all choose different paths to get ahead in life,” Lisa added. “I feel blindsided by a man I’ve dedicated my life to.”
Lisa, 39, and Lenny, 55, share two children: son Logan, 6, and daughter Elle, 2.
Lenny, however, told Page Six that their separation couldn’t have been a surprise to Lisa.
“She was not blindsided and we were sleeping in separate bedrooms,” he tells Page Six via email on Thursday.
Earlier this week, Mazepa claimed to us that Lisa and Lenny had been separated “for a while” and that she, too, was also separated from her own spouse.
“I was informed Lisa was fully aware that he was going out with me,” Mazepa said. “In fact, he is going to great lengths to protect his family and do right by everyone involved in this difficult process.”
The “self-made millionaire”, 26, maintained that she is “not the reason for their breakup” and would never go “for a man who is happily married.”
The now-former couple sparked breakup rumors earlier this month when they got into a public “showdown” at Gala nightclub in Miami where Lisa confronted Mazepa. Lenny first denied that he and Lisa were going their separate ways, telling us in a succinct statement, “Not True. Nice try though.”
But a week later, Lenny was seen getting handsy with Mazepa outside of Prime 112 and admitted to Page Six that he and Lisa were divorcing after nearly 12 years of marriage.
“Lisa and I are getting divorced,” he told us over the phone. “A few weeks ago, I denied this because I am trying my best to protect my family during this process.”
However, Lisa responded by telling us that she was “blindsided by his behavior and reckless handling of the situation.”
And a friend of Lisa’s also told us that she wasn’t “aware” of any divorce.
“She isn’t directly aware of any divorce talk but can assume the direction it’s going since he hasn’t been hiding anything,” the friend shared. “She hasn’t been served any papers and hasn’t been aware that that’s the case and is just focusing on her children.”
The couple has faced several challenges in the past, with Lisa revealing in December 2021 that the self-proclaimed “Boob God” had “emotionally cheated” on her when she was struggling to get pregnant years before they welcomed their two children via surrogate.
“We almost got a divorce, and it was devastating. During this separation, Lenny had this emotional affair with some $2 hoe,” Lisa said in Season 4 of the reality show.
But she added that Lenny “came groveling back, and it was the best decision of his life.”
Meanwhile, Lenny has been sued five times since 2019 for medical malpractice, with the most recent claim surfacing this week, though he has denied the accusations.
