Lenny Hochstein files for divorce from estranged wife Lisa after 12 years
Lenny Hochstein filed for divorce from his wife, “The Real Housewives of Miami” star Lisa Hochstein, on Friday, Page Six can confirm.
Lenny cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the filing, adding in court documents obtained by us that their 12-year “marriage is irretrievably broken and there is no present hope for a meaningful reconciliation.”
The papers claimed that both parties agreed to “dissolve their marriage at least a month ago.”
The plastic surgeon, 55, also acknowledged that he and Lisa, 39, signed a prenuptial agreement prior to their October 2009 wedding. He will pay spousal support, per the terms of the prenup.
As for the estranged couple’s kids, son Logan, 6, and daughter Elle, 2, Lenny requested “frequent time-sharing,” arguing that he will continue to “fully provide for all of the children’s needs.”
Lenny’s filing, first reported by the US Sun, comes less than a week after Page Six broke the news that he was planning on divorcing Lisa.
“Lisa and I are getting divorced,” he told us over the phone on May 16. “A few weeks ago, I denied this because because I am trying my best to protect my family during this process. This is a very difficult time, and I would ask for some privacy so that we can best take care of our children who mean the world to us.”
Shortly after Page Six reported on Lenny’s intentions, Lisa shared that she was “blindsided” by the news.
“I’m blindsided by his behavior and reckless handling of the situation,” she told us.
The couple first sparked breakup rumors after Page Six learned that they had a “showdown” when Lisa saw Lenny partying with his now-girlfriend, Katharina Mazepa, at a club on May 7.
“They were all there, and they did have words,” an insider told us at the time. “A drink was thrown.”
Lenny and Mazepa, 26, have since gone public with their romance and were not afraid to show a little PDA prior to his divorce filing.
Mazepa, however, denied being “the reason for their breakup.”
“The reality is that both Lenny and I have been separated from our spouses for a while and are both going through divorces. I was informed Lisa was fully aware that he was going out with me,” the model told us last week.
Lisa, on the other hand, has denied that they were separated and accused Lenny of “lying to two women at the same time.”
“Since finding out just two weeks ago, my priority remains the same — our children. As a mother, their happiness, safety and protection from all of this remain my ultimate priority,” the Bravo-turned-Peacock star told Page Six on Thursday.
