Meghan Markle debuted a new piece of jewelry dedicated to daughter Lilibet at Prince Harry’s polo match.
The Duchess of Sussex cheered on her husband at the Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club in California Sunday, channeling Julia Roberts in “Pretty Woman” with her polka-dot blouse and flowing white shorts.
She accessorized the look with Aquazurra heels, red lipstick and an oversized black hat — as well as a new ring.
While planting a congratulatory kiss on Harry after his Los Padres team took home the Lisle Nixon Memorial cup by a score of 14 to 10, eagle-eyed fans noticed the addition of a small gold “L” ring on Markle’s finger, a nod to 11-month-old Lilibet Diana.
The tiny trinket perfectly matched Markle’s “A” necklace from Verse, which she’s been sporting since she welcomed son Archie in 2019.

And in 2021, she marked her 40th birthday with a special video that showed off her two diamond constellation necklaces by Logan Hollowell — Taurus for Archie, Gemini for Lili.
Markle’s other sentimental gems include a diamond eternity band featuring her birthstone alongside Harry’s and Archie’s and zodiac necklaces adorned with Virgo and Taurus charms for Harry and Archie, respectively.

While she often wears jewelry that once belonged to Harry’s late mother, Princess Diana, she also dresses in her likeness, including at last weekend’s polo match.
Her black-and-white look not only inspired “Pretty Woman” comparisons, but also ones to Diana, who wore a white dress with black spots as she presented a polo trophy to Prince Charles at a 1987 match, also planting a kiss on her royal husband at the time.
