Kesha shared in an Instagram post celebrating Pride Month that she is unsure about her sexuality but “open to it all.”

“I’m not gay. I’m not straight. I don’t know what I am. I love people,” the “Praying” singer, 35, wrote Thursday. “I love people because we are all our own little consciousness journeys, dancing around the sun ☀️ how weird and interesting and fun this life is, right?”

She added, “I refuse to be anything, really, except for open to it all 🌟.”

Kesha noted that understanding one’s sexuality can be “confusing” and that those struggling are not alone.

“I know it can be confusing sometimes, but you are so seen and loved. Love u animals, happy pride 🌈” she wrote.

The Grammy nominee also took a moment to honor her LGBTQIA+ fans.

“🌈Happy pride! 🌈In case I haven’t been straight forward enough (LOL) I just wanted to take a sec to tell everyone that you are not only enough, just as you are, but the world is so f–king lucky to have you,” she wrote.

Kesha concluded her post by joking about the light crewneck sweatshirt she wore in the accompanying photo, writing, “yes, I’ve been wearing the same thing for like 4 days. What? #happypride #pridemonth #pride.”

In 2019, Kesha described herself as bisexual in an interview with Attitude magazine, sharing that she was not “hiding” her true self.

“I never had a moment of feeling I had to come out about it,” she said at the time. “It was always there. I think I had a conversation with a gay magazine in the US and they just asked me, ‘Oh, are you bisexual?’ and I was like, ‘Obviously!'”

And in 2013, the “Tik Tok” performer discussed how gender is not a factor when it comes to her dating life.

“I don’t love just men. I love people,” she told Seventeen at the time. “It’s not about a gender. It’s just about the spirit that exudes from that other person you’re with.”

Kesha has been dating her boyfriend, Brad Ashenfelter, since at least 2014, and they were seen enjoying a romantic stroll on a beach in May 2021.

“He’s really, a really sweet human being,” she told Ryan Seacrest at the beginning of their relationship, adding, “I’m very happy to have him in my life.”
