Braunwyn Windham-Burke and girlfriend Victoria Brito break up
Braunwyn Windham-Burke and her girlfriend, Victoria Brito, have broken up after less than one year of dating, Page Six can confirm.
The news comes after the “Real Housewives of Orange County” alum, 44, told her Instagram followers about the “hard time” she was experiencing and posted a graphic about going through “trials.”
“When I got sober, I thought, ‘OK, now I’m not gonna drink and everything is gonna be easy,'” Windham-Burke said via Stories on Thursday. “I did not realize the s–t that was coming my way.
“Every time I think it can’t get worse, it does,” she continued. “When does this end? I do have these moments like, ‘I didn’t get sober for this to be so hard.'”
The former Bravo personality concluded by “laughing” about her pain and telling others struggling that they are “not alone.”
“At the end of the day, I’m like, ‘What now?'” she said. “But I do know ‘what now.’ I’m not gonna drink.”
Windham-Burke went on to enjoy “mani pedi time” with her 4-year-old daughter, Hazel, whom she shares with her husband, Sean Burke. (The couple, who tied the knot in 2000, are also the parents of Bella, 21, Rowan, 20, Jacob, 16, twins Caden and Curran, 9, and Koa, 7.)
Bella has been “struggling” with her mom’s romance since Windham-Burke began dating Brito in late 2021.
“Not with the fact that I’m dating a woman, ’cause we are a very open family,” the blogger, who came out as gay in 2020, clarified to Us Weekly last month. “You know, we’ve always been big supporters of the LGBTQ community. I think it’s hard for Bella to see me or Sean dating anyone else.”
As for Rowan, she “loves Vic,” Windham-Burke gushed in the June interview.
“Jacob is a 16-year-old boy, he’s like, ‘Whatever, I don’t care,” she added. “The little kids, as far as they know, it’s just more people that love them. That’s sort of how Sean and I have presented this to them. Our family isn’t splitting up, our family is growing.”
Burke, 48, maintained a “friendly” dynamic with the designer, she told Page Six that same month.
“They have hung out … but it’s not like we’re one big happy family,” Windham-Burke explained. “They both have respect for each other and that’s what it needs to be.”
