Olivia Munn hasn’t slept in days following son Malcolm’s ‘first sickness’
Olivia Munn revealed she hasn’t slept in days as her son Malcolm battles his first illness, including “high fevers” and “explosive poop.”
The “Newsroom” actress announced her 7-month-old son, whom she shares with boyfriend John Mulaney, was feeling under the weather via Instagram on Sunday.
“Got through our first sickness,” Munn, 42, wrote over an image of Malcolm laying on her chest. “Haven’t properly slept since last Wednesday but there’s nowhere else I’d rather be than cuddling my little boy and being covered in his explosive poop.”
Munn posted on Monday that she thought her son was feeling “better,” but had had another rough night filled with “high fevers and lots of bodily fluids.”
“I’m so tired I don’t even wanna [sic] know what I look like without these butterflies and ladybugs over my face,” she concluded in her Story, which had a filter that enhanced her features.
On May 24, Munn celebrated her bundle of joy turning 6 months old in an Instagram post with Malcolm snuggling close to her.
“6 months ago today Malcolm made me his mama. 🥺🤍 It’s so much fun getting to know him,” she wrote.
The “X-Men: Apocalypse” actress went on to describe her son’s milestones, revealing that he “loves meeting people,” “tried peanut butter” and “sleeps through the night 12 hours straight.”
She continued in her celebratory post, “He wakes up from every nap with a huge smile and giggle, he LOVES when we read him books, he lets out a squeal and kicks his legs whenever his daddy comes home, I can’t stress enough how much he loves bathtime and he loves being outside and looking at the trees and the sky.
“I love you so much Malcolm Hiệp. Happy 6 months being earthside with us. You lit up our whole world,” Munn concluded.
Munn and Mulaney, 39, welcomed Malcolm, their first child together, in November 2021 – just seven months after Page Six exclusively revealed they were dating.
Three months before they went public with their relationship, the comedian filed for divorce from Anna Marie Tendler after six years of marriage.
Since then, the couple has been giving fans a glimpse of their life as parents with Mulaney gushing about how much alike he and his son are.
While hosting “Saturday Night Live” back in February, he said, “We were in the delivery room. My girlfriend had just given birth to him and he’s crying a little, so they bring him over to this warmer on the other side of the delivery room. [He’s] under this big bright light, and light is just shining in his eyes.
“He just looks up at the light and [he squints]. He was annoyed, but he didn’t say anything. I was like, ‘That’s my son.’ A polite man in an uncomfortable situation, but he’s not going to make a fuss. He’s a very good boy.”
