Kate Upton, Justin Verlander bring daughter Genevieve, 3, to MLB All-Star red carpet
It’s a rare family affair!
Kate Upton and Justin Verlander stepped out to the Major League Baseball All-Star Game red carpet on Tuesday with a very special guest: their adorable 3-year-old daughter, Genevieve.
The genetically blessed trio posed for photos at the event at L.A. Live hand in hand, with the real star of the night – Genevieve – claiming her place in between Mommy and Daddy.
The tiny tot wore a sparkly yellow dress, silver sandals and pearl jewelry for the outing, as she flashed a big smile for the cameras.
Meanwhile, her famous mom, 30, opted for a white one-shoulder minidress that cinched at the waist. The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model also wore silver sandals – only hers featured a stiletto heel.
As for Verlander, the 39-year-old Houston Astros pitcher went with a shimmery gold suit to match his daughter, which he paired with a plain white T-shirt and crisp white sneakers to match his wife.
Upton later gushed on Instagram that it was “so fun having the family together” to support Verlander at his ninth All-Star experience.
She then took “a moment to brag about [her] husband,” who underwent Tommy John surgery on his elbow — an operation that involves replacing an arm’s torn ligament with a healthy tendon extracted from the person’s arm or leg — in October 2020.
Verlander “had to step away from playing for almost 2 years” due to the surgery, as Upton noted in her IG post, but returned to the pitching mound in April of this year.
“He has put in so much work to be where he is today. He is continuing to break records and hit new milestones in his career,” the model marveled.
“I am so proud of you @justinverlander! ❤️.”
Upton and Verlander dated for three years before getting engaged in 2016. Following the Astros’ first-ever World Series championship win in 2017, the couple celebrated by tying the knot in Tuscany, Italy.
Genevieve Upton Verlander arrived in November 2018, while Norman – the family’s dog – came home last year.
