JoJo Siwa: Candace Cameron Bure ‘didn’t share all the details’ of our phone call

JoJo Siwa claimed Candace Cameron Bure “didn’t share all the details of the meeting” after confirming the actress did call her after their recent feud made headlines.

“We did speak on the phone. She shared that in her [Instagram video],” Siwa, 19, said Thursday in an exclusive video obtained by Page Six, further elaborating on the explanation Cameron Bure gave her Instagram followers on Tuesday.

“It was at the afterparty that she didn’t wanna take a picture with me, and I was OK with that,” the “Dance Moms” alum said.

“But then I turned around, and when I looked back, she was taking pictures with other kids.”

Siwa said that’s the part that made her “really, really upset,” calling it “one of those memories” that’s just always “stuck with” her.

“When you’re little and somebody says something to you, and you just never forget it as long as you live — I think we’ve all had that moment — and I feel like this was that moment for me,” she explained.

Despite some residual feelings from what Siwa previously described as a “rough experience,” she acknowledged that “it was a positive call” with Cameron Bure.

“We had about a 10-minute conversation, and it was sweet,” she said. “She apologized, and we talked. It was cool. It was nice.”

Over the weekend, Siwa posted a TikTok video in which she answered the prompted question of “rudest celebrity I’ve ever met” with a photo of the “Full House” star, 46.

The revelation went viral, and despite the media frenzy that ensued, it doesn’t seem like Siwa has any regrets.

“I was being honest, and that’s something that I’ve always done and will always do,” she said Thursday.

During Cameron Bure’s apology video, which was preceded by a cryptic Bible verse posted to her Instagram Story, the actress told her followers that she reached out to Siwa to get to the bottom of the dancer’s “rude” claim.

The Hallmark star said she learned she had snubbed Siwa when the then-preteen YouTuber asked her for a picture at the 2016 premiere of “Fuller House.”

Cameron Bure said she told Siwa, “Not right now,” and then proceeded to take pictures with other people. However, the actress did not specify that those people were kids and also seemed to remember the interaction happening on the red carpet, where a celebrity would be understandably busier.

Cameron Bure — whose 23-year-old daughter, Natasha, has come to her mom’s defense now twice amid the scandal — said she felt “crummy” hearing the story but even worse for likely hurting Siwa’s mom’s feelings in the process.

Siwa confirmed that to be the case, saying Thursday that her mom actually told “the exact” same story about two years ago on a podcast.

“We just found that yesterday,” she shared.

In the middle of her interview, which took place at a gas station while the former Nickelodeon star was filling up her tank, two young fans approached and ironically asked if they could take a picture with her.

“Absolutely we can! Of course,” Siwa replied enthusiastically, asking the little girls’ names and complimenting one of their shirts. “Let’s do it!”

Siwa stood hunched behind the girls and embraced them as she smiled for several seconds. She thanked them before returning to her car and driving off.
