Kevin Federline posts videos of Britney Spears allegedly arguing with their sons
Britney Spears’s ex-husband Kevin Federline posted a series of old videos appearing to show the singer arguing with their two sons.
K-Fed, who was married to the “Toxic” hitmaker from 2004 until 2007, shared three Instagram videos on Thursday which seemingly showed Spears scolding her sons, Sean and Jayden.
“I can not sit back and let my sons be accused in this way after what they’ve been through. As much as it hurts us, we decided as a family to post these videos,” Federline wrote alongside the clips, saying their sons were 11 and 12 at the time the videos were taken.
“This isn’t even the worst of it,” he continued. “The lies have to stop. I hope our kids grow up to be better than this.”
K-Fed’s decision to share the videos online sparked outrage, with a source in the Britney camp telling Page Six, “This is terrible, Kevin is disgusting. He is weaponizing the kids by releasing the videos.
“But in these clips, Britney is just being a mom.”
In the first video, Spears is seemingly unaware she’s being filmed by one of her sons as she walked into their bedroom.
“This is my house,” she tells them in the clip. “If I want to come in here and give you lotion for your face because it’s coarse … y’all better start respecting me, are we clear?”
“You all need to start treating me like a woman with worth,” she went on, adding, “I am a woman, okay, be nice to me, do you understand?”
The second clip, also seemingly taken without the singer’s knowledge, showed Spears allegedly yelling, “Have you lost your f–king mind? Have you lost your f–king mind?” as she sat in the passenger seat of the car.
The singer seemed upset with her son Sean after he was inside a store without wearing shoes. As punishment, she told him she was taking his phone away.
“I’m shocked as f–k with you and I don’t know what to do,” Spears allegedly said. “And I’m scared of you because you’re weird because you’re going through puberty. And I don’t know what to say. But I do care more than you know.”
Just one hour before K-Fed’s damning post, Spears shared a cryptic message on her own Instagram alongside an animated chess board.
“I’ve been so so so so safe mamma !!! Finding out is thin,” she wrote Wednesday night. “IT’S BEEN A LONG TIME FOR ME !!! Is it kinda cool out here ???”
“The famous game of chess goes like THIS … ‘CHECK MATE!!!’ ‘F–K YOU, YOU CAN’T DO THAT’ ‘I JUST DID!!!'”
Just hours prior, the singer accused her teenage sons of acting “hateful” during visits to her house.
