Kanye West’s got beef with Gap.

On Wednesday, the “Praise God” rapper Instagrammed a screenshot of a text exchange with a friend, who’d shared a link to a navy logo tee on Gap’s website and commented, “This is Gap copying YGEEB” — referring to Yeezy Gap Engineered by Balenciaga, West’s collab with the American apparel giant and the luxury fashion label.

“Exactly,” West, 45, replied to his pal.

The Grammy winner lobbed another accusation at Gap with his caption for the post: “But they canceled the photo shoot with my kids in Japan without me knowing.”

Less than 24 hours earlier, West also called out the company for allegedly meeting about his designs without him.

“Gap held a meeting about me without me?” he captioned a snap Tuesday of the brand’s new reflective visor-style sunglasses, dubbed the the YR 3022 YZYGAP SHDZ and recently spotted on Kim Kardashian and the former couple’s daughters.

Similarly, West recently went after Adidas (which handles manufacturing and distribution for his Yeezy brand) for allegedly launching Yeezy Day, hiring staff and making design decisions without his input.

West signed a 10-year deal with Gap in 2020, and has been generating plenty of press for the retailer ever since, albeit not always positive; earlier this month, shoppers were infuriated to discover the Yeezy Gap collection was being sold out of trash bags in stores. (In a recent since-deleted Instagram post, West urged his Instagram followers to “look to the homeless” as “the biggest inspiration for all design.”)

“The sales associate said Ye got mad when he saw they had [his clothes] on hangers” because “this is how he wanted it,” tweeted the New Yorker who brought attention to the unconventional display, adding, “They won’t help you find ur size too, you just have to just dig through everything.”

West called himself an “innovator” during a Fox News interview amid the uproar, saying, “I’m not here to sit up and apologize for my ideas. That’s exactly what the media tries to do: make us apologize for any idea that doesn’t fall under exactly the way they want us to think.”
