Lizzo wears red-hot ruffles to Emmys 2022
Lizzo is setting the Emmys on fire.
The “About Damn Time” singer gave fans a look at her head-turning red dress Monday, September 12, sharing three snapshots of her voluminous tulle frock on Twitter ahead of the awards show.
It was another high-fashion moment for Lizzo, who posed in a Giambattista Valli Haute Couture creation with dramatic sleeves, a ruffled neckline and long train.
Wearing her hair in a high bun, the hitmaker — who is nominated for six Emmys for her reality show “Watch Out for the Big Grrrls” — dazzled in Lorraine Schwartz jewels, including dazzling diamond earrings weighing in at over 40 carats.
She added strappy heels with a red pedicure and completed her makeup look with Charlotte Tilbury’s glossy Lip Lustre in Red Vixen, captioning her post, “Hello, Emmys!”
“I am so excited to share with you guys that Watch Out for the Big Grrrls is Emmy-nominated,” Lizzo said on Instagram Live at the time nominations were announced.
“And not just one nomination, bitch! Six nominations. You know what the Emmys are? Nicole Kidman is gonna be there, bitch. Probably!”

For the lives we touched making this… To shake up the industry.. and show the world how BEAUTIFUL AND TALENTED WE AREEEEE! BIG GRRRLS ARE BOOKED, BLESSED AND BUSY.”
While we’re not sure if Lizzo will get to greet Nicole Kidman, we’re pretty sure she’s feeling “Good As Hell” at her first Emmys.
